Two teenagers stabbed in Sydney's west are in hospital with serious injuries as police hunt for a third person linked to the attacks.

The two 14-year old boys were stabbed at about 3pm on Monday at a home on Whitney St in Prospect, near Blacktown, after a fight between a number of youths.

One of the boys was stabbed in the chest and the other in the neck.

Both are in Westmead Hospital in serious conditions.

A police spokesman said officers were looking for a third person.

No arrests have been made and police are appealing for anyone involved in the incident to come forward or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
