Two teenage P-plate drivers have been caught speeding almost twice the limit in Sydney's west, with one of the drivers carrying a baby boy in the backseat.

The two vehicles, driven by a man and a woman, were clocked doing 150km/h in an 80km/h zone on the Great Western Highway at Eastern Creek on Wednesday afternoon, police say.

The woman had three passengers in her car, including a one-year-old boy.

Both drivers, aged 19, are expected to face Blacktown Local Court next month for street racing and speeding.

The Department of Family and Community Services has been notified of the incident.
