Teen dies after NSW south coast car crash

A teenage boy has died after travelling in a car which veered off the road, flipped and smashed into a tree on the NSW south coast.

The 15-year-old was sitting in the back seat of a Subaru Forrester - which was carrying three other teens - when it crashed on Rotary Drive at Batemans Bay on Friday evening.

The critically injured boy was taken to Canberra Hospital where he died on Saturday afternoon.

The three other teens escaped serious injury.

News of his death came after two men were killed in a road crash between a ute and four-wheel drive near Canberra on Saturday.

The men were the sole occupants of vehicles which collided on Sutton Road in the NSW Southern Tablelands around 12.50pm.
