Police investigating whether three overnight shootings and two car fires across Sydney were linked
Police are investigating whether three shootings involving a home, a caravan and a business in Sydney's south-west overnight were linked.
The first shooting took place just after 11.15pm when shots were fired at a house in Margaret Street, Fairfield, before a dark-coloured SUV left the scene.
A man and a woman, both aged in their 20s, were at home at the time and were uninjured.

At about 11.55pm, police were called to Aberdeen Street in Bossley Park after a single shot was fired at a caravan parked on the street before a white Audi left the scene.
The occupants of that home were a couple aged in their 80s.
No injuries were reported.
Shortly before 3am, police were called to McIlwraith Street in Wetherill Park after shots were fired at a towing business before a car believed to be a black SUV or ute left the scene.

"This sort of stuff just won't be tolerated," Deputy Superintendent Craig Middleton from NSW Police said.
"Anyone who chooses to fire a firearm in a public place, (is) extremely reckless and dangerous."
