Three men charged in alleged kill-car plot in Sydney's south-west

Three men are set to face court today after being charged over an alleged plot to shoot a man in Sydney's south-west earlier this month.
Detectives from the State Crime Command's Criminal Groups Squad and Raptor Squad, investigating several public place shootings across Sydney's south-west located and seized two kill cars, a Volkswagen Jetta and a Suzuki Jimny, both equipped with stolen number plates, in Ingleburn and Minto, earlier this month.
A further search of a nearby reserve in Minto resulted in the seizure of a pistol and a magazine.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at North St Mary's. Nine
Further inquiries resulted in search warrants being executed at homes in North St Mary's, Greenacre and Emerton about 3pm yesterday.
A 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were arrested and taken to police stations across Sydney's west.
The 16-year-old boy was arrested at Greenacre and taken to Bankstown Police Station.
He was charged with possessing a loaded firearm public place, discharging a firearm intended to cause grievous bodily harm, and participating in a criminal group contributing to criminal activity.
A 21-year-old man was also arrested at North St Mary's and was taken to Mount Druitt Police Station.

Another man was also arrested in Emerton. Nine
He was charged with participating in a criminal group, contributing to criminal activity, possessing ammunition without holding a licence, discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possessing a prohibited drug.
Another 21-year-old man was arrested and taken to Mount Druitt Police Station, where he was charged with discharging a firearm, intending to cause grievous bodily harm and participating in a criminal group contributing to criminal activity.
Police will allege the group were organising the shooting as part of an ongoing business feud.
All three men were refused bail and are set to appear in court today.
