Sydney women face murder conspiracy charge

Two women have been charged with conspiracy to murder a man in Sydney's east.

Detectives received a tip off last month that a 27-year-old Glebe woman and a 28-year-old Balmain woman, in the city's Inner West, had discussed plans to murder the 30-year-old man.

Officers raided their flats about 6.30am on Friday and found cannabis, methylamphetamine, mobile phones, laptops and documents.

The women were charged with conspiring and agreeing to murder the man.

The pair were refused bail and are due appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
