Sydney man arrested over stabbing

A man has been arrested in Sydney's west over the stabbing of another man.

Emergency services were called to a Heckenberg house about 6.20pm on Saturday and found a 48-year-old man with injuries to his arm and abdomen.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and he has been taken to Liverpool Hospital.

A 49-year-old Heckenberg man was arrested and has been refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
