Man in 70s killed after two-vehicle crash on Sydney Harbour Bridge

A man in his 70s has died after a two-vehicle crash on the Sydney Harbour Bridge that has brought northbound traffic to a standstill this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Bradfield Highway about 12.40pm following reports of a crash.

Paramedics and police performed CPR on the driver, a man aged in his 70s, before he was rushed to hospital. 9News
Paramedics and police performed CPR on the driver, a man aged in his 70s, who is believed to have suffered a medical episode.
He was stabilised and rushed to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
Police confirmed the man died in hospital. He is yet to be formally identified.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash caused major traffic delays across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with Live Traffic NSW warning motorists to expect significant delays as emergency crews responded.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash has begun.
