Sydney 'axe attacker' refused bail

A young woman charged over waging a terrifying axe attack at a Sydney service station has been denied bail.
Evie Amati, 24, did not apply for bail and it was formally refused when she faced Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday over an alleged rampage in Enmore the previous day that left two people injured.
Amati has been remanded in custody to face court again on Thursday.
