Man shot several times in Sydney attack

A young man shot several times at Sydney's south has been taken to hospital, with police trying to track down two men over the attack.

The 23-year-old was found with several gunshot wounds at Arncliffe on Monday evening and the Seven and Nine networks report he was hit in the stomach.

"He was treated at the scene, before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition," police say.

Officers are looking for two men following the shooting, the Seven Network reported.

A crime scene has been established and investigations continue.
