Shots fired at Sydney home

An investigation has been launched after several bullet holes were found in the front door of a home in Sydney's west.

The residents called police after finding two bullet holes in the door when they returned to their Doonside home on Sunday afternoon.

Police believe the shots were fired between 5.30pm on Saturday and 3.30pm on Sunday and are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
