Roosters coach disappointed by scheduling

Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson says he is disappointed at the scheduling of their two games against neighbours and traditional rivals South Sydney this year.

The Roosters face the Rabbitohs at Allianz Stadium on Friday night, losing key players including skipper Boyd Cordner and halfback Mitchell Pearce to NSW ahead of Wednesday night's Origin Game III in Brisbane.

"The scheduling this year of our rounds haven't brought on that clash, haven't built up that rivalry like it should externally which brings crowds, which brings money into our game," Robinson told reporters on Thursday.
