Ron Medich to face murder trial next year

A new trial date has been set by the NSW Supreme Court for accused murderer Ron Medich.
The Sydney property tycoon has pleaded not guilty to charges of murdering Michael McGurk, who was gunned down outside his Cremorne home on Sydney's north shore in 2009, and intimidating his widow Kimberley.
Justice Geoffrey Bellew on Monday ordered that Medich's trial begin on January 31, 2017.
