Qld man caught with over 40kg of cannabis

A Queensland man has been caught at a Sydney train station allegedly carrying $350,000 worth of cannabis.

The passenger arrived at Central Station from Melbourne on Thursday morning where he was stopped by officers, who searched his two suitcases and allegedly located the 42.8kg of cannabis.

The 28-year-old was arrested and charged with supplying a commercial quantity of prohibited drugs and will appear at Central Local Court on Friday.
