Pedestrian critically hurt in Sydney crash

A pedestrian is fighting for life after being struck by a car in western Sydney.
The 43-year-old man was critically injured after being hit by a car on the Greater Western Highway at Kingswood on Thursday evening.
The man driving the vehicle will undergo mandatory tests, with the pedestrian taken to Westmead Hospital suffering multiple injuries.
