A Sydney man has been found hiding in bushes after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase before crashing into a wall and abandoning his injured passenger.
Police tried to stop a stolen silver Audi about 2am in Glebe but the driver allegedly sped off.
Officers briefly lost sight of the car before spotting it in Stanmore, where it reversed into a police car before taking off again and crashing into a brick wall in Enfield.
A 25-year-old woman in the passenger seat was taken to hospital suffering chest injuries.
A 25-year-old man was found hiding in the backyard of a house.
He was later charged with not stopping for police and driving dangerously and was refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail court on Sunday.
The woman will be issued with a court attendance notice to appear in Balmain Local Court on January 14.
