NSW unemployment lowest in 18 months

More than half of Australian jobs are in NSW with the state's unemployment rate dropping to its lowest level in 18 months.
Latest figures show the jobless rate has dropped by 0.3 per cent to 5.5.
"It is extremely pleasing that the NSW unemployment rate is the lowest among the states and has been for the last five consecutive months," NSW Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian said.

NSW has added 123,000 jobs in 2015 with 18,700 of those created in October alone, she said.
"NSW is the nation's engine room of economic growth," she said.
