NSW steady on the unemployment front
AAP
The unemployment rate in NSW has remained steady at 6 per cent with Treasurer Gladys Berejiklian declaring the state the "jobs capital of Australia".
New figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) released on Thursday confirmed that NSW has maintained the lowest unemployment rate amongst the states.
"I'm pleased to see that 118,800 jobs were created in NSW in the year to August - almost double the next strongest state," Ms Berejiklian said.
