NSW prisoner on the run after jail escape

A prisoner is on the run after he escaped from a northern NSW jail.
Ben Michie, 27, was reported missing from the minimum security prison at Glen Innes just before 9am on Tuesday.
Police said he is known to frequent the Hunter Valley, mid-north coast and western Sydney. People should not approach him but instead call triple zero.
