NSW pair charged over shop ram raid

Two men have been charged after ramming into the front window of a shop in a stolen vehicle in an alleged attempt to steal an ATM in Sydney's south.

Witnesses say the pair fled from the scene at Wolli Creek in August, after ramming the shop's window and attempting to remove the ATM from the store, police said.

Following investigations an 18-year-old man was arrested at Silverwater Correctional Centre on Monday.

The teenager was charged with larceny, stealing a vehicle and aggravated break and enter, to appear in court on Tuesday.

He is the second man to face court in relation to the ram-raid after a 22-year-old man was charged in early September. He will face court on December 1 over the matter.
