NSW officer accused of domestic violence

A police officer is expected to face a Sydney court on domestic violence charges.

The 52-year-old sergeant, attached to the North West Metropolitan Region, was arrested on Friday over off-duty incidents alleged to have occurred between July 29 and August 1, according to NSW Police.

He was charged with common assault and three counts of breaching an apprehended violence order, and refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
