Son charged with murder after mother dies in NSW house fire
The son of a 65-year-old woman who died in a New South Wales house fire has today been charged with murder.
Police allege the 42-year-old set fire to a house near the town of Young in the state's south in what they describe as a case of domestic violence.
The fire broke out at 1.30pm yesterday in Bribbaree, 50 kilometres north-west of Young in rural NSW.

Police arrived to find a 65-year-old woman suffering severe burns.
She was treated at the scene before being flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney in a critical condition, but died at 3am today.
Following police inquiries, a 42-year-old man was arrested at Parkes police station.
He was charged with including domestic violence murder, grievous bodily harm and damage to property and other offences.
He was refused bail and is scheduled to appear before court later today.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
