NSW man charged after setting home on fire

A man has allegedly set a home on fire and then fled the scene in NSW's Hunter Region.
The residents, who were known to the accused, weren't at the Paxton home at the time of the blaze, which was put out by fire crews.
The 30-year-old man has been charged with malicious damage by fire and is set to face court on Friday.
