NSW cop charged with assaulting woman

A NSW police officer has been charged with assaulting a woman during a domestic argument in Sydney.
The 47-year-old man, a senior constable, allegedly assaulted the woman, 48, on Sunday evening.
He was arrested and charged with occasioning actual bodily harm, and is due to appear in Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday.

Police say the man's employment status is under review.
