NSW Asian grocery store engulfed by fire

A man is being treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a grocery store in Sydney's southwest.

Firefighters have extinguished the blaze that engulfed the single-level Asian grocery at Cabramatta's Freedom Plaza on Monday afternoon.

Several people had to be evacuated from the building, a spokesperson for NSW Fire & Rescue said.
