Motorcyclist dead after north Sydney crash

A rider has died following a motorcycle crash in Ku-ring-gai Chase in Sydney's north.

Emergency services were called to a carpark on West Head Road shortly before 9am on Saturday, after reports a motorcycle rider had lost control, veered off the road and crashed.

The rider, a man in his 20s, died at the scene.

A crime scene has been established and police are investigating into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

West Head Road is currently closed in both directions.
