Search under way for missing fisherman on NSW south coast
A search is under way for a missing fisherman who was last seen on the NSW south coast.
Emergency services were called to Batemans Bay Marina about 8pm last night after reports a fisherman had failed to return from a fishing trip.
The 56-year-old man had left the marina about 6am in an 8-metre Arvor cruiser and was last heard from about 10am.

Police were alerted about 7.20pm when he didn't return home.
Marine Area Command, along with police, Marine Rescue NSW and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (ASMA) immediately launched a search.
The search involved boats, aircraft and helicopter, however neither the missing man or his boat was found.
Authorities will resume a search today assisted by Surf Life Saving NSW.
