Police will allege the arrested woman had been in a relationship with the slain woman. NSW Police
Police will allege in court that both of them knew the victim, and that the 40-year-old woman had previously been in a domestic relationship with her.
Detective Superintendent Joe Doueihi said the relationship had lasted several years, with the women living at the home where the 48-year-old was later found dead.
The relationship ended last May, and the 40-year-old woman entered a relationship with the 44-year-old man also arrested.
They lived in a home adjacent to the victim's.
Police said the man was well-known to police for domestic violence, traffic, and other matters.
The 40-year-old woman was known to police for minor matters.
Doueihi said the alleged offenders had travelled to Lake Burrinjuck, near Yass, at some point between December 31 and January 3.
They had travelled in a light-coloured Toyota Camry with the registration CJ49XV.
The car was towing a trailer and a small fishing boat.
With police still trying to ascertain the couple's exact movements and the timing of their trip, he urged anybody who had seen a car matching that description in the area to come forward.
The man and woman were both refused bail and will appear in court today.
