Man, two police injured in NSW explosion

An explosion at a Coffs Harbour building has left a middle-aged man and two police injured.

Something inside the premises exploded shortly after the officers arrived on Sunday night and a critical incident investigation had been launched, police said.

The 64-year-old man, a 32-year-old male officer and a 23-year-old female officer have been taken to Coffs Harbour hospital.

No further information was available.
