Man to face court over Bowraville murders

A man suspected of murdering two children in Bowraville more than 25 years ago has been ordered to front court over the deaths.

The man was issued with a court attendance notice on Thursday morning to appear in the NSW Court of Criminal Appeal in February.

He has previously been found not guilty of murdering the two Aboriginal children within five months between 1990-1991.

A third child disappeared from the northern NSW town around the same time, but he has not been ordered to appear in court in relation to that death.
