Man suspected in double murder: reports

A suspect has been reportedly identified in the murder of Alice Springs mum Karlie Jade Pearce-Stevenson and her young daughter.
Police on Wednesday released the name of the mother, whose remains were found in NSW in 2010, and her two-year-old girl Khandalyce Pearce-Stevenson, whose remains were found dumped with a suitcase in South Australia in July.
A day later, Fairfax Media reports investigators have reportedly identified a male suspect who is serving a prison sentence in NSW for unrelated offences.
