Man stabbed during street fight in Sydney

A man is undergoing surgery after he was stabbed multiple times in a fight between two groups in southwest Sydney.

The melee on Soldiers Parade at Edmondson Park began about 3am on Sunday. More people arrived in a car and joined in, police said.

Three men were taken to Liverpool Hospital with injuries, including one man who suffered a punctured lung after being stabbed multiple times. Police have established a crime scene and are investigating.
