Man charged over NSW thigh shooting

A man has been charged following a shooting at Wagga Wagga in NSW's Riverina region.
Emergency services were called to Mill Street in the town just after 11pm on Thursday to find a 34-year-old man with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to hospital and police set up a crime scene.

On Friday, investigators arrested a man in Ashmont in the town's south and charged a 38-year-old with entering a dwelling with aggravated intent.
He was refused bail and will appear in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Saturday.
