Man shot in back on NSW's Central Coast

A man has walked up to police officers on a NSW Central Coast street and told them he had been shot in the back.
The 41-year-old approached the officers, who had been called to another job, in Woy Woy about 10.30pm on Wednesday.
Police say he was given first aid and taken to hospital, where his lower back injury was treated.

A 21-year-old man on Thursday was charged with discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He's due to appear in Gosford Local Court.
