Man critically injured in Sydney jet-ski accident

A 35-year-old man has been seriously injured after he crashed a jet-ski into a tree on the banks of the Georges River this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Georges Hall in Sydney around 4.15pm (AEST) following reports of a jet-ski accident.

The man was riding alone when he crashed into the tree and was seriously injured.

He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
