Police to resume search for man missing in Murrumbidgee River

A man is missing after being swept away while swimming in the Murrumbidgee River in southern NSW.
Police say two men were swimming at Oura Beach, 15km northeast of Wagga Wagga, when they were swept down the river at about 6.45pm on Thursday.

One man, aged in his mid 20s, managed to swim to shore but the other man, aged 25, has not been seen since.
Police and the NSW Volunteer Rescue Associate searched for the man until nightfall and planned to resume the search with the assistance of police divers at 6am on Friday.
