Man killed in crash in Lake Macquarie

A man has died after his car crashed into a bridge in Lake Macquarie, in the Hunter Region of New South Wales.
The 46-year-old driver was trapped in the vehicle at Teralba for a short time on Sunday night before emergency crews were able to pull him and out attempt to revive him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
