Man dies in balcony fall at Sydney home

A man has died after falling from a balcony while trying to get into his own home in Sydney.

Police say they were called to an apartment block at Pyrmont about 6pm on Wednesday following reports a man, believed to be in his 50s, had fallen from the fifth floor.

They believe the man had been trying to regain access into his own unit.
