Two die in separate crashes on NSW roads

Two people have died in separate crashes on NSW roads.

A 77-year-old woman died after veering off the road and crashing into a cement drain on the Pacific Highway near Grafton at about 7.40am on Monday.

She was trapped inside the vehicle before being taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital in a critical condition, where she later died.

Meanwhile, a man was killed in a crash in Albury at about 1.30am after the car he was driving crashed near the town's hospital.

The fatal crash will be subject to a police critical incident investigation.
