Man charged with murder at NSW hospital

A male patient at a psychiatric facility near Newcastle has been charged with murder after another patient was found stabbed to death.
The 41-year-old victim was found dead at the Morisset hospital on Monday night before a 25-year-old man was arrested nearby, police say.
He's been refused bail to appear in Toronto Local Court on Tuesday.

The chief executive of Hunter New England Health said he was "deeply saddened by the events that have occurred", and offered his condolences to the patient's family.
"This incident is under police investigation and HNE Health is assisting as required," Michael DiRienzo said in a statement on Tuesday.
"We will also conduct our own internal investigation."
