Man charged over Sydney party stabbing

A man has been charged after he allegedly stabbed and stomped on the head and face of another man at a party in Sydney's southwest.

Police say the two men were fighting with each other early on Sunday at a Bossley Park home, before other party goers broke it up and drove the stabbed 42-year-old to hospital.

A 41-year-old man was charged with wounding with intent and remanded in custody to appear at Fairfield Local Court on Monday.
