Man charged in online child sex sting

A Sydney man has been arrested after he tried to lure an undercover police officer posing online as a 14-year-old girl to meet him for sex.
Police allege the 42-year-old man believed he was chatting online to an underage girl and made a number of sexually explicit comments and tried to meet her for sexual activity.
He was arrested in Penrith on Thursday and will appear in Penrith Local Court on Friday.
