Man attacks Sydney bus with shovel

A man has smashed the windscreen of a Sydney bus with a shovel in a road rage attack.
He was behind the wheel of a Subaru station wagon and first verbally abused the bus driver after a traffic incident in Marrickville on Monday morning, police say.
The middle-aged man then returned to his car, grabbed a shovel and took to the windscreen of the bus before speeding off.
