Locals rescue shark stranded on NSW South Coast beach

A not-so-great white shark has been rescued off the NSW South Coast.

Locals walked the baby shark back into the water after it struggled to find the strength to pull itself in.

Vision of the rescue shows two men checking the shark for injuries before leading it into the water.

"We're just taking him off the shore and putting him back into the water," the rescuers said.

Baby great whites are just over one metre long and can grow up to over six metres long.
