Car plunges down cliff at NSW tourist attraction
An onlooker has escaped serious injury after a vehicle plunged down a steep rocky cliff at an embankment near Kiama's famous blowhole, south of Sydney.
Fire and rescue crews from the NSW South Coast town rushed to help after the accident at Blowhole Point on Sunday.

No one was in the car but one person was hit as it careered towards the ocean, Fire and Rescue NSW said. They were not badly injured.
Crews said it had overshot the car park, and come to rest just above the ocean swimming pool, next to the blowhole.

"It was extremely fortunate that nobody else was hurt in this incident," FRNSW said on Facebook.
"Our crew stood by with NSW Police Force until a tow truck could recover the vehicle and then cleaned up a small fluid spill."
