Jury out at woman's attempted murder trial

A jury has begun its deliberations at the trial of a Sydney woman accused of stabbing her ex-husband after tricking him into closing his eyes as part of a game of hide-and-seek with their son.

The woman, who cannot be named, has pleaded not guilty to attempted murder at her Neutral Bay home in September 2015.

The NSW District Court jury retired to consider its verdict on Thursday afternoon.
