Investigation over Sydney workplace death

A man has died after getting caught up in machinery while loading a container at a metal recycling yard in Sydney's southwest.

The man, aged in his 50s, died at the scene about 9pm on Wednesday, police said.

SafeWork NSW is investigating and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
