Guns, drugs, cash seized by NSW police

Guns, drugs and cash have been seized in separate arrests by NSW police.

A man will face court after officers allegedly found a double barrel shotgun, a lever action firearm, a rifle with an attached scope, cash and cannabis during a search of his Ambarvale home in Sydney's southwest on Thursday morning.

Checks revealed the guns had been stolen from a property at Silverdale last year.

The 32-year-old has been charged with three counts of supplying and possessing firearms and possessing a prohibited drug.

He has been refused bail to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on Friday.

A man will also face court at Dubbo in central NSW accused of possessing firearms and drugs after police stopped his car on Thursday afternoon.

They allege they found a .22 calibre semi-automatic shortened rifle, a shortened .303 bolt action rifle, ammunition and ice in the vehicle.

The 29-year-old is charged with possessing prohibited firearms, ammunition and drugs and has been refused bail to appear at Dubbo Local Court on Friday.
