Girl assaulted by man during visit: police

A man has been accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in the Snowy Mountains when he visited her family three years ago.
The 51-year-old was charged in Cooma on Wednesday with sexual assault of a child aged between 10 and 14.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to face Queanbeyan Local Court on Thursday.
