Four men rescued after boat sinking

Two men have been rescued from the water off south Sydney after their boat sank.

Two other passengers from the same boat were also rescued by police and emergency services from the shore at Cape Solander near Kurnell around 2.30pm on Thursday.

Police and emergency services were called out following reports a small aluminium runabout was sinking, and found two men, believed to be aged in their late 20s, in the water wearing life jackets.

The two men found on the shore are also believed to be in their late 20s.

None of the passengers were injured during the incident.

It's believed the boat's engine stalled before it took on water.
